Become an Integral Part of Our Business – Database/Systems Management, ITR Specialist, Technology Advisor…
We are a boutique business continuity consulting company based in New York City seeking a self proclaimed IT guru to administer a web-based relational SQL database, consult on IT recovery strategies, and manage the technical aspects of our business. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work 20 hours a week to start (transitioning to a full time employee) and the desire to become an integral part of a growing business.
Further requirements include:
• Four year degree in computer science or related field and at least two years of industry/consulting experience
• Proficient software skills; familiarity with eBRP, Salesforce, and Daptiv is a plus
• Prior consulting experience and/or interest in Business Continuity Management (BCM)
• Confidence in presenting at and willingness to travel to client sites
• Project management experience with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Flexible nature and a great personality
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit confidentiality, integrity, and dependability
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Interact with client representatives to ensure database meets specifications and coordinate data collection efforts
• Remotely manage the database implementation process and corresponding help desk
• Provide IT recovery analysis and strategy exhibiting understanding of server room environments and their corresponding vulnerabilities and failovers
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and other consultants
• Willingness to support all other staff in order to meet client demands
